Gender Affirming Care: Supporting Queer, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color – Presented by Aleks Martin, MSW, LSWAIC, SUDP
March 28, 2022 , 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm PDT

Gender-affirming care saves lives. Growing legislative attempts in the U.S. to ban or limit access to gender affirming healthcare endangers the health and well-being of transgender and nonbinary individuals, especially for those identifying as BBIPOC. Join Husky alum, Aleks Martin, on March 28th for a free virtual roundtable sponsored by Mental Health Matters of Washington to learn more about how gender affirming care supports mental health and the principle of “first do no harm.”
