Suicide Prevention Workshop

September 21, 2022, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm PDT

Suicide Prevention Workshop

September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month. Currently, in the U.S., suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people ages 10-34.

Many of us have confided in others during dark times, and vice versa. But it can feel awkward, if not downright frightening, not knowing what to do when a loved one or a peer shows suicide warning signs.

Join Mental Health Matters of Washington on Sept. 21st for a special Zoom event with staff from the Forefront Suicide Prevention Center at University of Washington to discuss suicide, why we need to talk about it, and how we can help others move in the direction of hope, recovery, and survival.
